Calculations and saved settings

Putt calculations run in your browser. This app does not upload your distance, elevation, calculated power, or coefficient values to a server.

When you select Save coefficients, the app stores your coefficients in your browser's local storage under wgt-putting-profiles-v1. These settings stay on this device and browser until you remove them or clear site data. There are no user accounts or advertising cookies.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate visits and calculator use. Plausible does not use cookies or persistent browser identifiers for this measurement.

We track pageviews and actions such as calculating a putt, opening coefficient settings, saving coefficients, and resetting values. Our custom events send event names only. They do not include your distance, elevation, green speed selection, putter scale, calculated power, or coefficient values.

Plausible processes connection information such as IP address and browser information to produce aggregate statistics, including approximate location and device type. This does not mean that no connection data reaches the provider. See Plausible's data policy for details.

The app excludes local previews and visitors whose browser sends Do Not Track. Blocking analytics does not affect the calculator.

Hosting

Cloudflare Pages serves this site. Like other hosting providers, Cloudflare receives connection information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for its processing practices.

External links

The community guide and other external sites have their own privacy practices. This app does not embed their content.

Manage your data

Use your browser's site settings to clear this site's stored data. Restore community defaults replaces the saved coefficient profiles with the starting estimates.
