Green speed coefficientsFine-tune your game

Starting coefficients use 9 ÷ green speed, with FAST (9.0) as the reference. This community speed estimate is not an official WGT specification or a calibration for your putter and ball. Replace it with your tested values as needed. Each tournament speed has its own coefficient.

Coefficients are stored only in this browser.

BUILT FOR YOUR NEXT PUTT

A free WGT putting power calculator

Enter distance in feet and elevation in inches to estimate the power for your next WGT Golf putt. Choose a green speed, adjust its community coefficient, and use a putter scale that fits your shot.

Which green speeds are supported?

SLOW (7.4), STANDARD (7.9), FAST (9.0), VERY FAST (10.0), TOURNAMENT (11.5), TOURNAMENT (12.0), and CHAMPIONSHIP (13.0). Each speed has its own editable coefficient.

How is putting power calculated?

Power (%) = (distance in ft × green speed coefficient + elevation in in) ÷ putter scale in ft × 100. Elevation is added directly in this provisional empirical formula. Positive values mean uphill; negative values mean downhill.

How does automatic putter scale work?

The scale starts at 25 ft. Editing your putt selects the smallest fitting scale from 15, 25, 50, 100, 150, and 300 ft. You can also select a scale manually.

Does this work with my putter and ball?

The starting coefficients are community estimates based on 9 ÷ green speed. Adjust them using your own results. Side slope, ball behavior, and equipment differences are not modeled, so the estimate is not a guarantee.

Are my coefficients saved?

Yes. Select Save coefficients to keep your changes in this browser on this device. No account is needed. Clearing browser storage removes those saved settings.
